Why families love Kookaburra

We have been at Kookaburra for 2years now and absolutely love it! We know all the ladies, as they know my kids (and welcomed them with loving arms, even before baby#2 was enrolled!).

We chose Kookaburra because of their wide open indoor and outdoor play environments - it is very important to me that my kids are not cooped up inside all day. I also love that I can rely on Kookaburra to provide nutritious meals for my kids, whilst reducing stress on myself as a busy working mum.

These days Kookaburra is a home away from home for my kids - and I would not hesitate in recommending Kookaburra as a long daycare centre to anyone

Our daughter has Cerebral Palsy and needs very specialised support. Angela does everything possible to ensure she has access to the very best support and also arranges for her to access the specialist equipment and funding she needs.

Angela, Julie and the staff have provided the most incredible level of support to our daughter, and us as a family and I highly recommend Kookaburra to anyone using daycare and kindy.
Julie is our daughter's keyworker and without her input she would not be growing and developing at such a great rate - she is educator, OT, Physio, Speechy, carer and nurse extraordinaire!

We are there a lot for appointments and the centre is always a happy, bright, energetic hub of activity and learning. Our youngest daughter will start in the new year and we feel extremely lucky to have such a professional, friendly, supportive and excellent childcare centre in our local community.

We first came to Kookaburra in 2014 when my eldest started in Kindy and my youngest was in Nursery.

Over the past 3 years we have developed such a lovely relationship with all of the staff. We feel welcome every time we walk in the door and we are greeted by our names. Our youngest is just about to come into his last year at Kookaburra and we will be very sad to leave next year.

I have built some excellent bonds with the staff over the last few years and I recommend Kookaburra to all my friends who are looking for a child care facility for their children. Would not change a thing!

Kookaburra Child Care Centre holds many wonderful memories for my four children. The staff was incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic. 

For the 10 years that we attended the Centre we were always impressed with the quality of care shown to our children. The activities were always engaging and well resourced, the grounds themselves were inviting. The Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The whole centre gave a happy relaxed cheerful vibe that was welcoming and nurturing.

We look back very fondly of our time at Kookaburra Child Care and we wish them all the best for the future years.

Kookaburra was like part of our family for the 11 years that we had our three children in care at this wonderful centre. 

From the day my children started as babies in the nursery room until the day they graduated from the kindy class, they had the highest quality of care from the experienced, engaged and attentive staff.  My children's individual needs were catered for both in the curriculum and the meal service provided by the Centre.  Family is actively encouraged to be a part of the Centre, and there are numerous opportunities for families to attend a range of fun and creative activities at the Centre. 

My children developed strong, positive, and meaningful relationships with the staff, and a number of staff were at Kookaburra for the entire 11 years that we were!  The Centre is very inclusive of families and children from all cultural backgrounds and also caters for children with a range of additional needs. 

My partner and I cannot thank Kookaburra enough for the support they have provided to my children and our family.  It was extremely reassuring to know that leaving our children in the care of Kookaburra meant that they were nurtured, encouraged, challenged, respected, and cared for by the very highest quality service possible.
